Tomer Gal Appointed Chairman of the AI Forum within the Israeli High-Tech Association

The Israel Hi-Tech Association has announced Tomer Gal's appointment as Chairman of the AI Forum this August. In this capacity, Tomer will spearhead the forum's strategic vision, act as its chief representative across diverse platforms, and champion established AI enterprises within the Israeli high-tech sector and traditional businesses keen to integrate AI. Furthermore, he will collaborate with governmental and regulatory agencies, ensuring AI thrives in a conducive and structured ecosystem while undertaking various initiatives to bolster the AI domain.


Tomer Gal comes with a commendable portfolio of achievements. He is the Founder, CEO, and CTO of OpTeamizer, recognized as a Preferred Partner of NVIDIA with specializations in AI, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Embedded Edge computing. Tomer serves as a faculty member in the software engineering department at Brauda Academic College of Engineering, an Artificial Intelligence Lecturer in the High-tech industry, and NVIDIA's lecturer for GPU development and AI, an Evaluator for the Israel Innovation Authority, where he appraises grant applications submitted by AI startup.


Tomer Gal has a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science from the University of Haifa and is pursuing his doctorate in the same field. On his recent appointment, Tomer remarked, "I'm thrilled to step into the role of Chairman for the Artificial Intelligence Forum within the Hi-Tech Association. This move undeniably empowers the union's standing as a pivotal player in the industry, especially concerning AI."
